OLTRA LAMENT:

Dust forms from dusk and earth is reborn from dust: hardness, repetitive and multiform in its landscape of climbs and ascents.
'OLTRA LAMENT' is LAMIEE's second album and is the result of a sonic, folkloric and emotional research that continues the discourse started in the first
chapter of his musical production: 'FISICA'.
At the root of both works lies the Piedmontese tradition of ‘masche’, mysterious and archaic figures suspended between good and evil,
changeable in their forms and appearances, capable of casting spells, of healing or persecuting those who disturb them.
An evocation in five laments, like prototypes of a traditional song form, resonating in a burnt and shaded landscape.
Dances and lamentations, ecstatic peaks and brief apparitions: 'OLTRA LAMENT' is the portrait of a pre-human landscape teeming with voices.
A lost look among the cliffs, that dissolves in their dust.

OLTRA LAMENT:
Dal crepuscolo si forma la polvere e dalla polvere rinasce la terra: la durezza, ripetitiva e multiforme nel suo paesaggio di salite ed ascese.
‘OLTRA LAMENT’ è il secondo album di LAMIEE. ed è frutto di una ricerca sonora, folclorica ed emotiva che prosegue il discorso iniziato nel primo capitolo
della sua produzione: ‘FISICA’.
Alla base di entrambi i lavori sta la tradizione piemontese delle masche, misteriose figure arcaiche sospese fra il bene e il male, mutevoli nella forma e
nell’aspetto, capaci di lanciare sortilegi, di curare o perseguitare chi le disturba.
Un’evocazione che si muove in cinque lamenti, come prototipi di una tradizionale forma canzone, che risuonano in un paesaggio arso e ombroso.
Danze e lamentazioni, picchi estatici e brevi apparizioni: ‘OLTRA LAMENT’ è il ritratto di un paesaggio pre-umano brulicante di voci.
Uno sguardo perso fra le rocche che si dissolve nella loro polvere.
